I feel that I am a very energetic person that loves to be busy. I have chosen to go into teaching as a career because I am passionate about making the future a better place. I feel that as a teacher, I can help my students realize what potential they hold. I aim to help my students unlock that potential, so they are able to become whatever they desire. I also strive to motivate my students to do better, by trying to always act as a positive role model. I feel honoured to have the opportunity to shape the future, but working with the youth of today.
Biography (tutoring history)
Outside of teaching, I enjoy sports and being outdoors. I am a leader in a local scout troop, giving me the opportunity to hike, camp, kayak, and enjoy the great Canadian environment we live in. Along with scouting, I volunteer to maintain an outdoor skating rink during the winter months. Although it can be a long and cold evening spraying the ice, I enjoy having the calm and quiet time to self reflect. When it comes to sports, I love watching hockey (Go Leafs!) as well as watching soccer, although being English I do tend to call it football. I also play hockey recreationally.
