Tasya has a passion for making her students feel motivated and confident about themselves and believes that that social emotional support, will ultimately assist them in achieving challenging academic objectives. She believes if you are able to just plant a good seed in the mind of the youth, you never know what fruits will come from it.
Biography (tutoring history)
Tasya Clarke is a DOE Special Education teacher that is driven to assist in not only helping students meet academic objectives, but also helping them attain their own individual life goals.
In 2018 she was accepted to the NYC Teaching fellows and has obtained her Masters Degree in Education from LIU Brooklyn in May 2020. Tasya’s certification is in Special Education 7-12 and because she works in a small school environment, she has had the opportunity to teach students from 8th grade to 11th grade in various subjects such as: English, Social Studies, Economics, Government, Earth Science, Algebra, and Geometry.
